The Sunday School meets on Sunday mornings from 11am to 12 noon for children between the ages of 5 and 11 years of age. There is also a crèche for children under 5 years in the Reid Hall. |

The Nursery is for children of pre-school age and is held in the Castlemilk Hall Monday-Friday mornings from 9.15am to 11.45am. A lunch club is also available from 11.45am until 1.20pm ( except Tuesday where pickup must be before 1pm). |

The village preservation society was formed in 1964 and strives to preserve the historical and architectural heritage of the village. The AGM of the society is held every April which the public can attend and life membership per family or single person is £10. |

The Village Club is situated on 109 Waterside Road next to Mitchells Restaurant. The club is open to members and membership is open to all residents. Membership is also available to associate members to those living outside of the community provided that they can provide genuine association with the community. |

The Society was founded in the latter part of the 19th century and holds an annual flower show in the Castlemilk Hall at the end of August each year. Purchase of a schedules of the show at £1 is regarded as an annual subscription. AGM in March. |

The Drama Club offers two main productions in the year but sometimes there are more dotted throughout the calendar. Membership is usually restricted to age 16 and above and rehearsals are usually held in members' homes or in the Castlemilk Hall. New members are always welcome. |

The Village holds a Gala Day ever year in June. At this time of year there is a a whole week of activities from a tour of the Church, indoor and outdoor games, competitions and matches, discos and dances as well as the day itself of crowning of the queen, side shows, stalls, demonstrations and children's sports. |
